SHE'S WELL ACQUAINTED WITH THE TOUCH OF THE VELVET HAND

"I'm just sayin'", I'm really into:

Some uber shit in September's Vogue. Deep red it is.
Some other rouge-y bits I'm eyeballing, these from Topshop:

Speaking of the September issue, I saw the movie, and "I'm just sayin'" (can't get over Kanye saying that), it was a much needed boost to keep me on track in my efforts to secure a job in a respected fashion magazine office - seriously uplifting, inspiring and beautiful. Team Coddington! (you'll see what I mean when you watch it)

I downloaded the movie after reading this and have now watched precisely half of it, 40 minutes. Have to finish it tomorrow but it's very interesting. So far I love Anna Wintour's daughter and like you, I'm team Coddington. She's wonderful! It must be harsh having your darlings killed all the time.
Over all, so far, I am pretty grossed out by the film rather than inspired. It's an insane industry.

it is a pretty daunting film and industry and it sucks that coddington is so talented and has so much experience and at the end of the day, it all means squat wen wintour has her over-rated say, but thats how it goes. i'm preparing myself for that. regardless, i still can barely see myself in any other industry.

i'm really looking forward to 'Coco Before Chanel' tho. stay tuned for the verdict on that :)

It's good that you get to see documentaries if this is really the industry you want to be in, "real" information is pretty restricted.

I already saw the Coco Chanel-movie. Don't have your hopes up! It's very basic (a bit dull actually) and doesn't contain much fashion.
